Yarn cost = (grams used ÷ skein grams × skein price) × (1 + waste %).
Labour = hours × hourly rate.
Overhead = selected % of yarn + materials + packaging + labour.
Recommended price solves for your target business profit margin after percentage and fixed selling fees.
Break-even solves for a zero-profit price after selling fees.

Is YarnMargin a subscription?

No. YarnMargin Pro is planned as a €19.90 one-time purchase.

What can I use for free?

The core pricing calculator is free. Pro adds saved projects and photos, batch pricing, market planning, yarn inventory, sales tracking, CSV exports and backups.

How many devices can I use?

One Pro licence supports up to two activated devices, so you can use YarnMargin on your phone and laptop.

Where is my project data stored?

YarnMargin is local-first. Your crochet projects, pricing data, yarn inventory and project photos stay in your browser unless you choose to export a backup.

Does YarnMargin work offline?

After activation, YarnMargin can keep working during temporary connection problems for a limited offline grace period. It reconnects periodically to verify the licence.

What if I replace a phone or computer?

You can deactivate an activated device. The final recovery process for a lost or replaced device will be documented before paid launch.

What if I lose my licence key?

Purchase-recovery and support instructions will be published before paid launch. Your exported project backup is separate from the licence key.
